filler primer

   ok anyone used filler primer and if so how good is it?

   does it work well and what sort of indents will it fill? im doing my rocket cover atm but still have some old paint lines that its not filling

   Bare in mind that paint is very thin...it will not perform miracles. Its for minor surface defects.
   
   Also........what kind of rocket do you have??

   and yeh its only tiny imperfections on the surface not talking 3 or 4 mm but only 1 or 2 mm just want it to look spot on

   Multiple layers of filler primer do actually fill many imperrfections if done correctly

   just keep sanding in between coats

   if there quite deep scratchs in it, you couls try get some fine sandpaper p240 ish and try rub them down alittle then use the fillerprimer

    did you feather the edges of the old paint prior to useing rhe filler primer??
    
    many think coats will see the best results

    yeh its almost there ive done really well so far just little bits left

    yeh i spend a long time preping it just got a few tiny bits left
