   Have disconnected as I am replacing, how do I get it out without causing any damage please?

   take out the center console, from behind twist it (left i think) and push it out, may be stiff so might have to tap it with hammer.

   don;t bother twisting, put a block on the rear of lighter on the plug pat and tap out the metal part, then psh the green part thro simples
