mk2 vtr manifold and cat?

   i dont wana dcat my exhaust cos of the mot failure blah blah.. but it want a 4-2-1 manifold put in, can the cat be moved to under the car? or is it jst worth decatin it?

   Don't see why you couldn't fit a Mk1 fanimold and under the car cat, it'll match up to the centre/back section. Lambda sesnor wiring mite be on the short side. Or it mite hit the filter. Worth a punt. Buy one secondhand and sell it on on here if it doesn't fit. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
   
   VTR's loose torque with a decat anyway.
