Black spoiler

  1. #1
I'm going for a blue/black theme on my sx and was thinking about spraying my spoiler black. Has anyone got any pics of something similar (doesn't have to be black on blue) and how easy would it be to do with spray cans or should I get it done professionally.

    Cheers

I'd say go for it and do it yourself just practise on something first. Just remember to take your time and spray even coats in a side to side manner, and with every new coat try to overlap the old one slightly...This helps to prevent streaks.

    It goes,

    1) Light sand to key original paint
    2) Primer
    3) Wet sand with 1500-3000 grit wet and dry used wet (with water, gives a smoother finish)
    4) Primer
    5) Colour
    6) Wet sand
    7) Laquer
    8) Dry for more than 24hours
    9) Wet sand with 2500-3000 wet and dry
    10) Polish out sanding haze

    FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!1!!!1
