Exhaust change on a ford ka. These two nuts are siezed solid onto the studs. Threads on the studs are barely visible.
soaked them in wd40 and tryed the 15mm and a breaker bar but its so close to rounding off

If your changing it anyway grind it off then wack them out. Stick the grinder where they meet and cut the bolts

cant grind them off as it will mean i'd need to change the manifold with cat

Heat them up, then try and undo them

or is that the only option, to buy a new manifold/cat?

Get a blow torch on it, should heat them up enough to get them loose enough to undo.
Failing that it is pretty much cutting them off or drilling them out.

thanks guys sorted it. ended up taking a grinder to it lol
