rough grinding feel neutal ?

Hi, yet another problem, Drove to work as normal with everything sound

.
Got to work and parked up , put into neutral, gave it a wiggle to make sure and noticed a rough grinding feeling as i pulled it left and right.

Goes into gear fine and drives fine, wont always do it. Seems to be rough then get better.

First thought as something like gear selectors or something.

Any ideas or experiences?

Was your clutch depressed past the bite? I had this before the gearstick was kind of half way between neutral and in gear without the clutch depressed and it was grinding.

Alternativly i think the clutch release bearing may have someting to do with this
