ecu unlocking plz help

   im am planning to put a vts engine in my vtr. i have a complete vts car wich is running can i unlock the vts ecu myself .. or will i have to pay some one to do it plz help

   I have a single plug vts ecu for sale....£50

   Start the car and then unplug the transponder box from under the dash. that should do the trick. Easy to relock if its done that way though so careful its not plugged in on the donor car.

   remove the transponder box on the car thats receivng the engine yeah. You dont need to unlock that ecu but it will help when flogging it.

   its my vtr that is reciving the vts engine so as long as do this on the vtr the vts will go in and start straight up cause i thought the vts ecu would have to be unlocked to .sorry to be a pain just making sure ha ha
