Boot central locking

    Wondering if anyone can shed some light.

    I've had a replacement boot on my car before I bought it (Don't ask - The guy tried to paint it or something)

    It has a separate key for undoing at the back, and doesn't unlock with the central locking of the car. I took the back covering off and had a look at the lock, there isn't a single wire or anything going into it?

    I can't even see a plug for the wiring to go into?

    Am I being stupid?

    Perhaps he was just lazy and didnt wire it up?

    If the boot came from a car with no central locking there wont be any wiring,

    You can get Kits to add central locking to the boot, but i know alot of people disconect the boot for security reasons.
