supersprint cat back race centre pipe

   ..will i really need the silencer with it? How much louder over a standard exhaust would it be with this centre pipe + no silencer? Really only looking to upgrade the centre pipe as its more durable and mines gona go soon, just dont want to fork out the extra 50 on a silencer if its not that much louder!
   
   Anyone whos got one of these that could help would be much appreciated

   that is really confusing to read. there are two silencers which are you on about the centre pipe one or both?

   The Supersprint Race Pipe is much louder without the silencer on the centre section.

   well iv got it with the straight through centre pipe without silencer and its not much different sound wise, but i would take it out because its more direct for gases to escape there for every so slightly better performance. hope this helps you out.

   yeh i meant without the centre silencer cus you can buy the pipe with or without it. cheers guys

   its louder but not really that loud without the centre silencer.
   
   Depends what backbox you have.

   Keeping a standard manifold with cat most people seem happy with the non silencer version. This is because the standard cat will act a bit like a silencer.

   I have a standard manifold with mine, and I was previously quite worried about the noise it would make.. I considered the silencer as well.
   
   I have the kam racing backbox and whilst the noise is noticeable it isnt really loud. No way would I have gone for the silencer if I knew what noise it would make without
