Light wattage n the law

    Is there set requirements for wattage on headlights?? As I just bought some new bulbs (55/60w I think) and they seem less bright than my standards.

    As far as I understand it H4 headlamp bulbs in "E" approved modern headlamps can only be a maximum of 60/55 watts.

    Well that's what I bought. What could I get that would be brighter but still road legal??

    I've looked but tbh I dnt really know what I'm looking for, any suggestions??

    As said legal law is 60watt max
    you will find that even though they have the same ratings the differance in light output between cheap bulbs and say a phillips vison bulb is noticable.

    I bought Phillips but they dnt seem as bright :s what do you think the ones above would b like??
