Is there set requirements for wattage on headlights?? As I just bought some new bulbs (55/60w I think) and they seem less bright than my standards.

#4As far as I understand it H4 headlamp bulbs in "E" approved modern headlamps can only be a maximum of 60/55 watts.

#11As said legal law is 60watt max
you will find that even though they have the same ratings the differance in light output between cheap bulbs and say a phillips vison bulb is noticable. -
