   I have a problem. A knocking from the front of my car, when I apply pressure to the top of my passenger wheel there is a bit of play which isn't there on the drivers side. Any ideas what this could be?

   Under what circumstances does the knock occur? When turning the wheel? Full lock? Over bumps?
   
   Could be play in the balljoint on the wishbone

   Under normal driving, becomes more noticable with speed
