brakes

Went to kwik fit to check my saxo's brakes as they feel like there not working properly. They checked it over and came back saying both front and back brakes need replacing and recommend a brake fluid change. I was quoted £430 in parts to have this work carried out - Is this a good price?

    Hell to the No!!!!

I can't imagine Citroen charging as much as that - but if I had to choose between Kwikfit and their merry band of neanderthalic mechanics or Citroen and their slightly less idiotic mechanics... I'd choose Citroen.

Honestly, you can get parts for less than £100 easily. I paid £30 ish quid for mintex rear discs and pads. And they are SOOOO easy to fit you should do it yourself.

I feel like they overquoted me tbh that price is just parts not including the labour cost. Cheers dude

They usually just quote for both, so you have no idea of part cost or labour cost. I would have though (and very much HOPE) it's £430 for parts and labour. But I'd use the opportunity to have a bash yourself
