hi today i was going down a 30mph rd when some idiot pulls out from the lay by and goes into the side of me, causing damage to passengers door and rear quarter.

Now having spoke to my insurance they are pretty sure it will be wrote off..

how much do you think the value would be on a x plate vtr?
and would it be worth to buy back and what do they charge?
I never been involved in a car accident before so im unaware of the procedure all i know is that someone will collect my car and take it away...

my car has vts alloys etc and nice audio is it worth to take all this out before..

    please any advice welcome

Well, they try and "match" your car value to other saxos in the market and knowing them they will base it solely on mileage and year of the car

what your insurance will "probably" offer you a thing called "cash in liue " where the basicly give you what the cars worth and you get to keep the saxo so with the money you get you either have a few choices such as fix the saxo with the money, buy another car and break the saxo for spares or repair ect ect .... " IF " the insurance offers you this take it lol but remember they cant offer you this if the car is still on finance.

if the accident wasent your fault then i cant see this being a problem if they dont offer it mention it to them there may be some sort of policy where they must give you this if it was a non-fault claim . if your insurance or the other party's insurance hasent offered you a replacement vehicle untill you receive settlement theres a legal thing they have to offer you one if it wasent your fault here's a company that can help http://www.helphire.co.uk/
