Battery Light on - Key out - Radio still turns on and off

    Untill the other day, You couldnt turn my radio on with the key out of the igntion on the first turn of the key.

    When I got home from my trip, I turned the car off and noticed the battery light was on, So i instantly thought, Alternator belt.

    Popped the bonnet and checked and it was still there I was like hmm.

    So i started the car and the light went off, So i was like right ok then..

    Pulled my radio out, and unplugged the like 15 pin connector and the light went off.

    So i assume its something to do with the radio.

    Any idea guys?

    mine did this to the previous owner but i have no idea what caused it hope that helps
