   will any saxo radiator fit a 98 vtr ??? as i need 1 asap as my gasket around the themo housing as got a leak and i cant do the leak untill i got a radiator as the bleed plug on the radiator the top as snapped and i dont think you can just change the plug

   you can fit a vts rad or vtr rad only problem is if you fit the bigger rad you need to cut down the bottom rad pipe for it to fit

   but does it have to be off vtr/s or does any rad will fit 1.1 1.4. etc

   I have the exact same problem as you mate is your leak coming from the back of your engine? how did you fix your leak my fan packed in aswell though

   i aint fixed it yet but im going to buy new rad in the morning take the themo housing off and put new gasket/seal on and bleed the system but my leaks is in front on the housing between the housing and the engine the bit where the themo fit into

   Yes all the same - except VTS which has a double fan - but as Warde says - you can fit the double one on any other saxo if you cut the bottom pipe down and spend an hour trying to get the bastard tube on the new fixing in an awkward place while your upside down

   Ye i was told by a mechanic that the plastic housing is fooked at the back of the engine. This and my fan went at the same time and as a result my car is pissing water and over heating.. does it involve much changing the housing or do i need new rad sorry clueless with cars.

    housing is easy change and i doubt you would need a new radiator but just look around rad to see if you can see water pissing out

    Its coming from behing the engine i fill the coolant up 5 mins later its empty.. were would you get the housing ?

    Got my plastic housing today and little gasket with it cost me 37 euro and now 50 to be fitted then 104 euro for the fan this car is starting to burn a serious hole in my pocket

    that what you get for owing a shiteon lol but it a pretty easy job to do yourself just a haynes and you will need one off them
