random battery light

   hi, every now and then my battery light cums on for like 3 secs then goes off and stays off, doesnt affect the car in any way just a bit annoying. ive recently changed the alternator belt but this was happening before aswell. ive also tied the cables to the alternator away from the manifold.
   can anybody shed any light on this please.

   iv had this problem recently mate check all your wires behind your centre console =)

   mine does this, its a shit connection on the alternator
   
   sometimes goes off when i rev it

   sounds like earth wire loose some were mate...

   Ive had this problem,but touch wood it's not been back on for a while
