Lowering

  1. #1
    Hello all,

I plan to lower my car this weekend, i have some 35mm springs for the front, and plan to put them on the standard shocks as im on a low budget. Also i have 3 stud steelies and tires, can anybody see any possible clashes with the rest of the car? im looking to find some second hand 3 stud alloys as a renovation project does anybody have any they would like to get rid of ?

    Thanks in advance

Make sure you have alot of tools to lever the wishbbone back down if this is a 1.1

Have needed up to 3 people in the past to get the wishbone back into the strut

it shouldnt be any harder than last time i took the strut off . . . should it ? i used a big bar and a lot of effort but got it back on we did however break the arb bracket in the process do you think i will have any rubbing whilst running it with standard tyres and wheels ? would love to have put my alloys on it but somebody stole them out of my back garden
