#2Yes.

#3ofcourse it does, doesnt make it heavier does it now lol
you need to think is it really worth it though. Will it ever see a track or is it mostly for road. will have a more pikeyish feel and not so homely/warm for the winter months as metal floor will be showing everywhere. not to mention road noise/exhuast noise. -
#4Unless you're going to do it properly as in all the plastics, seats, sterio unit, airbags etc etc it's pointless. If you're just using it as a road car then there's just no point
-
#5It can make a massive difference if you're doing it properly.
But again if its your day to day A to B car its not worth fannying about just taking out the rear seats for example. Full stripping would probably get annoying. -
#7i have stripped the rear of my car and have the spare strapped down still got the roof lining and the carpet and origanal seats, i love it made it feel much better, weight like 28 kg, dont no whether to rip the roof lining and carpet

#8roof lining and carpet - Not Really Much Point Mate.

#9You would be surprised how much that weighs.
I remember seeing a thread about on here or 106oc about stripping. The guy listed what each individual part weighed that he had removed so people could add up the weights and get a rough estimate of how much their car weighs after stripped said parts.
Have a search and you may find it

#10yes.
headling is rather heavy.
but wen winter gets her its goin be very cold
hence why im goin be putting all mine back in -
#11ive stripped my saxo out, as i wanted a full on track day car the extra noise isnt bothering me though. It would if it was an every day car! cheapest way of getting more out of your car though............
