THATS wierd might want to check earth leaD MAKE SURE ITS GOT GOOD CONNECTIONS both ends also depending on how many tiems battery has gone flat and time left between usage i have experienced the boot light to be causing an issue by not going out
get the battery checked by a good cap spares outfit before buying something you may not need

Take it to Halfords or Nationwide autos & get the charging rate checked it might be a faulty battery or a faulty alternator.

As said could be that there is a bad earth somewhere also have you had the drain on the battery tested as something could be permanently live without you knowing.

check you audio remote wire as i jammed my between the seat and the car and it was earthing out which made the battery go dead also disconnect all power cable which you have added and see if it still goes dead i.e audio/boot lights etc
