yesterday i took out my centre console to spray it which means the hazard button and rear window heater button are disconnected... i later had to go out in my car and realized i had no indicators and thought it might be that my hazard switch was disconnected, plugged it back in and indicators worked. this led me to think that because its a mk1 and most of the centre console wires are disconnected this may be why the sub has no power??? my cd player and radio still work could anybody shed some light??

#2you need to make sure the rca cable the red and white one is plugged in the back of the headunit and also there should be a small blue wire which is your amp power cable which should be connected to the back of the headunit from the amplifier if either of these hasn't been put back on then that would stop it turning on.
if both are connected you could have blew a fuse when disconnecting everything as well so check fuses after you check the first thing if no joy.1 user thanked this post: -
