Right someone told me that I can stick any 8v head (1.1, 1.4, 1.6) onto my 1.4 block as they are all the same. Can anyone tell me if this is true. I'm going to the scrap yard to get a head and to be fair I can't tell the difference in engine size just by looking at it, or is there a way to identify the engines cc?

#2Was gonna just risk going to the scrap yard and get any head that looked like mine, I know the bore size's are the same on 1.1's and the 1.4's as the head gasket is the same, does anyon know if the valves are the same size? I went to the scrap yard this morning hoping it would be open but it wasn't...
so now I'm stuck as I need to get it MOT'd tomorrow, was hoping to find something in the for sale section on here, but I've not made enough posts, so I know this is a bit naughty but if anyone knows someone with a decent cylinder head in the derbyshire area... -
