dipstick snapped

   the end of my dipsticks snapped off just the little bit where it measures how much oil, ive got a new 1 but should i get the old end out or just leave it in, i dunno if it will do any damage or not but i would of thought it wouldnt am i right? cheers

   ihave a long bendy pipe thing with a magnet on the end, for getting bits n pieces that fall where the shouldnt be, also got a thing with and extendable claw (like the thing of terminator when arnies pulled that bit out of his nose!)
   i got them in a pack from the local car parts place, only cost a fiver. come in handy for jobs like that LOL

   lol, ive got 1 of them claw things an a magnet and a mirror in a set like that but its where its gone inside, ill have a go if not its due an oilchange in a couple of thosand miles might just get an early 1

   LOL im always using mine when im working
   always drop things down pipes and need to use the magnet on a rope or shimmy down a pipe LOL
   
   they are great, never used the total recall claw in the nose before (i knew it was an arnie film )

   lol, mines pretty strong i grabbed me mates neck with it and it made him bleed lol, the mirrors good for when you cant be arsed to ly under the car to look for bolts etc

   LOL,
   i have to use the mirror when im using a machine upside down in confind spaces. it fooks with your head when im trying to set the dials and they are back to front and upside down!

    the neck that holds the oil level dipstick can come out, remove the bolt holding it and pull it out the block, then take broken one out and put new one in.

    Its happened to me mate i wouldnt worry about it its cant go anywhere.
    
    i went to the citreon garage and they said they get loads of people come in with the same thing.
