car wont start

    hi guys
    my vtr wont start.
    when i parked it up it was running nice, havent been out in it in a few days and i just tried to start it to go to the vets and it just turns over. the battery was flat aswell but i put that down to not using it,
    i have nothing lighting up on the dashboard apart from the battery light, the petrol gauge isnt moving either,
    would i be right in thinking its the transponder? can i do away with it altogether to see if it starts then?
    any help would be mucho appreciated
    (just as i was going to sell it aswell?

    yes mate all it does is spin over.
    i think it has something to do with having no instrument lights apart from the battery one

    Well if you feel it maybe the transponder, try your spare key...

    lol dont have one, why dont the dash lights come on surely if it was the transponder it would still light up but just flash the immobiliser light

    if it was the transponder the little key would flash on the dash. try all the sensors on the engine this happined to me once and it turned out to be the flywheel sensor was loose. hope this helps
