my engine just cuts out

   im asking this for a friend its a 106 with a vts engine while we are driving along the engine will just cut out the car does not even judder or any thing then you have to turn the ignition off and back on and it will just start right up

   Could be alot of things mate, most likely a loose connection somewhere or dodgy immobiliser

   try these free things before spending
   
   clean the throttle body
   clean the ICV
   clean inlet manifold
   Clean map sensor
   clean crank sensor (near g-box, this gets stinking)
   
   leave it tick over and while its at idle disconnect the green temp sensor and if no diffrence bin engine note then this is 1 of the faults
   
   let me kn how u get on as i just fixed mine

   right i found out what the problem was it was the coil pack once i changed it to my one i had i worked fine and not cut out at all any more
