bit help please

   iv put a 1997 106 gti engine into my saxo vtr 1998 got an unlocked ecu a vts wiering loom pluged everything in and the engine turns over but wont run theres about three plugs that havnt pluged in as they dont fit anywhere has anyone done same conversion and has a solution for me if so would be much apreciated if u can give me some advice ?

   was the loom you got from a 97 gti or was it fron a newer model. i know that on vtrs the loom plugs are mostly the same but a newer one has a couple more plugsthan the older engines. hope this helps

   its a single plug ecu from a 97 vts

   The ECU don't matter at this point, the Loom is what you need to be looking at, what car is the Engine Wiring Loom out of? Sounds like a Pug's wiring loom, which I think is the problem. Use a 1998 VTS Wiring Loom it should all fit up correctly

   take some pics or describe were they near and the colour of the plugs, i got a vts and a gti so i can help
