abs given up (due to driving through large puddle)

as above. went gokarting last week, only entrance ment driving through a large puddle as it had been raining heavily. full car width and about 4 inches deep.

this week ive noticed the dials are flickering, giving false fuel levels and rev dial sticking etc... only the abs light comes on when it wants. this evening the abs light is on constant.

ive been to my local supermarket and tested the abs. the fronts lock up easily so the abs is dead.

do we think the dials flickering is related to the abs?

all i have done so far is check the abs sensor connector plugs (blue ones) are dry and clean. theyre looking fine.

I think if your dash is going funny... it sounds more like an earthing fault or more likely the alternator has thrown a wobbler.

You can check which abs sensor has gone by doing a resistance check across the sensor.

fuses are fine to the eye. will swap them all engine and glove fuses.
