#2Maybe cv joint or drop links jack car up have a look under, wobble wheel, tug on drop links, look for split / grease on cv joint
-
#3yeah will be the cv joints mine used to be the same had one fixed which the garage i went to told me it was the right side. got it replaced and then the same noise come from the opposite side because the pressure was put onto the weaker one. cost me 220pound to get it all sorted.

#4sound like a CV joint to me aswell, go under the car and put you hand on the CV and shake it, if any play the bearings have worn
-
#5Sorry but i am a girl and i dont even know what the CV is ? Is it dangerous? Think ill have to get it in the garage ?

#6sounds more like warped disks and low pads. jack the car up and spin the wheel by hand, if it goes lose then tight i would say its that.Quote:My saxo is making a strange " knocking " type of noise , it is mostly when i am going round roundabouts or round the corner, but does happen when i am driving straight and braking, this has been a problem for a while but is getting worse, any advice would be much apreciated. Wouldn't knock really.
Most likely CV joint. Means new driveshaft time.
Best to inspect your balljoints and drop links first though, They're cheaper to replace. Just look for any split gaiters/rubbers. -
