Brake Pads ????

    Resonable priced pads which last for heavy braking with grooved discs.

    I think we can all say that the standard brakes arent always the best. If im wrong then please correct !!!

    Your recommendations please

    no point in red stuff for the road they wont get warm enough, i have heard and seen some bad green pads, red dot i dont know much about.

    Mintex for me

    i have green stuff all round on grooved discs. they have served me well, but im going to try another make with my new brake setup to see if there is any difference

    I have green stuff pads and I think they are very good in my opinion. Tempted to try some more when they need changing but might just stick with these as I'm pleased with them.

    from my experiences red dot arent that much better than standard pads and greenstuff are ok but wear down too quick

    what are mintex pads like scott?never heard anything about them

    green stuff pads are gud bet defo run down to quick

    Why not red stuff though???

    I am a very heavy braker and the greenstuff sound like they wear down to quick.

    Mintex C-Tech racing pads, come in all different compounds. Have heard really bad things about green stuff.

    My dad put some in his 205 GTi and they caught on fire!

    Mintex for me too! (only because we stock them where i work )

    id say blackdiamond predator pads,got em on mine with the combi discs and really good.

    pads where about £40 per set of pads mate,if you spoke to g.s motorsport theyd sort you out.heard bad things bout green,especially the discs,apparently warp???
    remember reding somewhere that the best set-up that was tested was green stuff pads and black diamond combi discs.
