occasionally i get a single knock when steering alot to the left/right. Just replaced the wishbones but still happens. The droplinks were only replaced in april and look to be in good condition. any other ideas?

#2Does this happen when sat stationary, moving or both?
-
#3both
generally more at low speeds like parking for example

#4Have you replaced the shafts
Or looked at cv joints
Happened to mine and I replaced shafts to sort it -
#5i havent touched the driveshafts
just put the front end on stands, everything all seems to be good, when i steer in the air with no load it doesnt knock. I think it could be the cv joints but is there any way to check this? and can you just replace the cv joints or will it have to be new driveshaft time? -
#6just replace the cv joints. had mine done and its sweet now
-
#7if its a single knock its more likely to be suspension related, on mandys saxo the 2 nuts on the rear wishbone mount had come slightly loose and needed nipping up
-
#8i just replaced the wishbones yesterday, the knocking isnt as frequent now but still happens and its driving me mad lol
can you buy new cv joints or does it have to be the whole driveshaft? -

#10bugger. im pretty sure its not the two nuts under the carpet for the wishbone as i did them up pretty damn tight and didnt want to over tight them incase i snapped a stud off.
i cant be asked for changing the driveshafts atm, think ill just wait until the noise gets worse
