Power Source From Turning Key?

    Where abouts is thier a power source that only powers up when you have the ignition on? Like the way an amp works it powers off when your car isnt on and when the key is turned it powers up? I have added a power source to the boot so my battery/compressor constantly will be charged when im ONLY driving i dont want it getting power when the car is off

    My cigarette lighter is constantly on it doesnt come on with the ignition ?

    I tried on the cd player (Red ' Black Wires) But thats constant power aswell?

    the barrel or the wires behind the sterio just check with a volt meter

    Got it Sat and fiddled behind the cd player with all the wires and got it

    1 set of wires on the stereo will be constant live for the memory the other set will be switchable for when you turn the key & the stereo comes on.
