lead comeing from flywheel

   what is the lead comeing from the flywheel called and what does it do it has a chunky black cable ?

   you mean from the flywheel area? its either the crank sensor (front of the bellhousing) or the earth lead (top of the bellhousing held on with a 13mm nut)

   ye i think its the crank sensor if that isnt pluged in will it stop engine from fireing

   Yes, Will turn over but won't fire.
