Is it ok to sand blast a bumper?

   As the title says "Is it ok to sand blast a bumper?" ive never done it before would it scratch the plastic?

   ive heard its pretty costly, why do you need to sandblast it ?

   i wouldnt use grit on plastics tbh as its to abbrasive, if you want it done find someone who does soda blasting

   Thanks for all the replys i was just wondering thats all what would be the best way to sand down a bumber ready for painting then? Could you use ordinary sandpaper?

   well if the paint on the bumper is alright now just give it a good key with something like 800 grit wet and dry then paint withh primer.
