16v converstion, rad HELP?

i am currently in the middle of a 16v converstion in to a saxo mk1 vtr
and have come across this below:

To the left is the plug coming from my 16v FAN,
To the right is the plug coming out of the car wiring (not the 16vloom), which was connected to the old fan unit,

what should i do ?
cut the connectors off and connect them?
if so, which would connect to which?

HELP much appreciated,

looks like the same plug mine has (car loom bit not the rad bit)

I dont know much about these things but i'd suggest going to a scrap yard and finding the correct plug. Cutting it off with an inch or two of wire left and spline it onto the existing loom. Neaten it all up a bit and job's a good'n.

Awaits the more simple answer now lol . . .

the plug on the right wasnt connected to your fan, its for the powersteering pump

my fan plug is identical to the plug on the right in the picture.

hang on, why are you connecting the 16v fan to the vtr loom? the 16v fan should connect to the 16v loom

i have the full 16v loom running the engine, and cannot find no connector free on the loom to fit the fan connector. this connector comes from the fuse box and went to the old fan,

does any one no which would be +/-?

has any one got a pick of the conection on a standard vts then as i have same prob dont no were to plug it into thanks
