Non-OEM body pannels

After an unplanned meeting between the ring barrier and the front of my little saxo I need to source a replacement mk2 bonnet and passenger wing...

Should I be wary of non-oem parts like this listing on ebay:

Or is the quality/fitment likely to be fine?

some non-gen panels are fine and they will usually be marked as insurance approved but the cheaper ones are utter gash and you spend more time trying to get them to fit then anything else, i hate them. worst non gen parts on a mk2 are the headlight trims, they are hideous things that pop off at every eventuality and for the sake of a few quid more for an OE one i know where my money would go.

after a past experience it would have to be OE panels for me

as mandyslover says it all depends on the quality
look at this company crashrepairparts.com or try and source a good second hand one

i'd go to a scrapyard or go on ebay and buy second hand oem tbh, even if you get a red bonnet and a gold wing youll still have to get them sprayed whether its those or new non genuine ones. the steel on non genuine stuff is almost always thinner and shitter too. plus the reason saxos arnt rust buckets is the fact that they are coated in ed (or similar) when new. non genuine ones just come as black primered steel so wont last as long
