Slimline Fan

  1. #1
I'm about to get a slimline fan, to replace my VTS fan setup

After seeing a few fitted I've noticed some people mount them
In front of rad to push air through,
Others mount behind to pull air through.

Is there any pro or cons to either way.

wont it depend on which way the fan spins?
  3. #3
Blades are angled one of two ways depending on what side the fan faces, looking to get one myself but dunno if it's worth it yet

The one I'm looking can do both

By reversing the polarity, and flipping the blades round.

So just wanting to know if it makes any difference which side it's fitted.

Probs wont cause if you think bout it its the same fan so it'll pull/push the same ammount of air either way.

nothing wrong with std fan--why change it ?

as above, most only get them to fit in when space is limitied, unless your fitting turbo/supercharger theres not really many mods that would require you to need one?

Possibly going to fit an oil cooler in the future.
As it is there is no room for it with a vts fan setup and a streamline widemouth insert.
