bleeding cooling system

    do i need to have the car running or can i leave it not running to do this?

    do i just turn it to hot with no fan on ? like so theres no air coming out of the vents in the car ? just turn the dial to hot

    as there is no controll valve for the amount of water going through the heater matrix there is realy no need to have the fan on, it wont make any diffrence

    have u got a bleed screw on the pipe that goes into the matrix ( should be on the left next to the inlet manifold. with the engine off fill the rad up untill water is flowing out of the blled hole with no bubbles. then leaving the rad cap off start the engine and leave it to warm up to idle temp on its own. when its at idle temp and the thermostat is open squees the bottom and top hoses. unless there is a massive air lock a small amount of air is released from the rad cap anyway. have funn
