front lower engine mount

   i have noticed that if i dont get a smooth gear change i can hear a knock and feel it threw the pedals. a mate of mine said it would be the lower engine mount just wondered if anyone had the same problem? thanks

   I get the same thing, i personally just think it's just the backlash of the french gearbox

   only does it when you let the clutch up quick but i brought a powerflex engine mount to see if this will solve the problem if not i will just put it down to being french lol

   Had a similar problem, got new gearbox mount but yet to fit it. All my engine mounts were pretty worn though. SO think its just more movement cause by the mounts going.

   Concentrate on making your gearchange smoother and then you wont notice it lol!
   
   Seriously, check the bushes on the mount bracket - they could be worn, causing the knock.
