Quick Question: Citroen Saxo 1.0 / 1.4 Centre pipe on a VTS?

  1. #1
Was looking through ebay came across this centre pipe (Link:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT) looks like its from the manifold to back box so basically a straight through, would I see any potential gains from this? Seeing as it would decat a Vts and no sliencers etc.

Looks similar to a supersprint centre pipe guessing its a smaller bore or something maybe?

I'm on a mega tight budget atm so just trying to save a few pennys possibly.

    Cheers,
    Ant

Edit: forgot to add link LOL, sorted now.

Whats the diameter of the supersprint centre pipe ?

    Anyone know thanks.

Edit: Just checked up the Internal Bore is 50mm.

So if this centre pipe is also 50mm I can't see what the difference will be for performance fiqures really. Yes of course the supersprint will be much better made with better material agaist the elements but for a temp fix that centre pipe seems ok to me.

    Thanks for input mate

I've asked the ebayer seller for the size of the bore but he doesn't know but someone has told me that it is most likely to be a smaller bore than say a supersprint. So with a smaller bore i'm guessing it will restrict the flow ?
