Im having real problems with my saxo and need to find out what the problem is, this is where i need your help.

This morning when i came to start my car, it took a few turns on the key for her to fire up, but my god, it sounded like a tank, really boggy, spluttering etc etc.

after it warmed up abit it got abit better.
But as soon as the engines cold its rough as fook again

so, asked a few chaps at work what they think it is.

    here's what they said.

    1. Headgasket
    2. damp in the coil pack/ plugs
    3. MAP sensor

so which one could it be, and how will i tell which one it is

    thanks for your help,
    Stu

Mine was doing this for a small period. I went round WD-40ing the f**k out of any electrical connectors i could find and it seemed to cure it lol.. when i started it, it sounded like it was backfiring and missing properly bad but got better when it warmed up.

    is your battery okay?

You sure running 2 amps isn't shagging it? lol try starting the car with nothing on so no lights, no amps etc no stereo blah blah just so power gets to starting the car, see how it copes
