Has anyone perfected the fitment of these yet?

Brought one the other day for a good price, but whilst researching them I never found one sat centrally in the recess, anyone got there's centred and how did you do it?

    Pics would be good too

could always revert to the tradition of cable ties?

on a serious note though, fit it and see how it sits, you may have abit of luck and it fits perfect, but if it doesnt sit right you could always maybe heat the brackets up and bend them slightly?

but youd have thought they would sit right considerng how much they are new

Not keen on the cable tie jobby last exhaust was done like it, did sit nicely but wobbled like mad!

Yeh I suppose fit it and hope! I'm guessing the cars brackets would bend easier than the stainless ones on the backbox?

Pics of peoples attempts still required though to see if it's a design flaw or poor installation

I do prefer Kam's system but the Saxsport came up at a very good price considering it's only 2 weeks old and done a lap of Europe

Your first on the list if I change my mind and go for a Kam Racing system

It's like the Supersprint you have to fiddle about to get it smack centre, it's all to do with how the rubbers lie, for instance if your laid underneath car and looking straight up, the left hanger rubber is practically pulled back towards the bonnet and right on the edgeway where as the right handside rubber is sat as far back as possible away from the car, get a friend to help you centre align it then tighten the clamp up etc. .

Cheers mate, so it is possible just takes patience?

Would drive me insane if it was permanently offset!

Think I've developed OCD for have things aligned and neat/tidy on the car

Hmmmm doesnt the sound of the supersprint tickle your fancy hehe , i was going to get the Saxsport actually when they first come out but now i have the Supersprint i love it, must admit though the Saxsport & Supersprint system is probably the best two systems for the Saxo.

tbh i think alot of it is just downto how poeple fit the exhausts, on m saxo i got my supersprint to sit perfectly and didnt need cable ties, just took my time and messed around, ok it took a couple of attempts but it was worth it

yer the cable ties are a crude way of doing it, but could do the job for just a short while, if you do fit it and it doesnt sit right first time round

hmmm as for which hangers would be best to bend if it came to that, im unsure tbh could always bend the hangers on he body and he backbox a little bit rather than bending either one or the other a lot if you get me

Will do mate! Not planning to it yet but I don't currently have a backbox on the car so I'll have a play and mock it up and grab some pics to show how (if) I manage to get it all lined up

    yer exactly its just patience

Makes sense mate, a lot must just throw the exhaust on and as long as the rubbers are on the hangers it's fitted lol

I'll try and avoid bending them at now I've had the advice but your suggestion is very sensible - if I do have to bend the hangers then do each one a bit rather than one a lot

That's one solution, just cut away the rear valance of the bumper haha
