air bag light!

   took out my standard steering wheel and fitted an aftermarket one.
   
   so as usual the air bag light comes on.
   
   anyway of turning it off?
   
   ive heard of ppl being able to wire the light to the oil gauge??

   There are two wires that go into the back of the airbag.
   
   You need to bridge this connection with a 2ohm resistor, and the light will go off.

   Technically, it will 'trick' the system into thinking the airbag is connected.
   
   No warning light, no fail on the MOT?

   Airbag isn't required for MOT. It will pass with the light on.

   i did the same my air bag lights flash's on at 1st then gos off and my water light aswell does the same will my vtr pass its mot with them coming on

   Airbag light is fine. What do you mean by water light - the light that comes on when the coolant temp reaches the top of the gauge?
