Lowering springs

    hi guys n girlies i finally got enough money to get me car lowered can any one tell me if these will do the job and are they any good or is there better for around the same price thanks

    Firstly I would want to know if these are B4 dampers for the saxo or another model. If they are the saxo part number then they are an OE replacement and not uprated. Now they may be valved for the vts and vtr models as the same part is used across the range, so they do work well on lower models, we run them on our van but still at standard height.

    Secondly the B4 dampers are full length units and not designed to be run 40mm lower. You will just sit on the bumpstops. I would not run more than 30mm lowering with them and preferably 20-25mm max.

    The Apex kit is around your budget and uses properly uprated and shortened shocks.

    AP also make a 40mm lowering kit. They are owned by KW and are very popular on german cars
