There is no point getting it remapped if it's got no mods.
    Absolutely Pointless!!

You dont have to have mods to remap a car, as in it dosent make it impossible unless you have mods.

However, its a waste of time on a saxo spending the £300 or whatever amount on remapping your standard engine.

Poeple generally get a new map once they have uprated camshaft/s

    please tell me your joking??

a remap may see you with a bit more power with out any mods but on the whole its apointless exercise.

when the orginal map was loaded by citroen they went for an all round good one, that combines the best performance and economy it can, this will be at the loss of some bhp but they have to do it to please every one and get the most sales.

re-mapping a standard car is more for the Turbo Diesel and turbo petrol cars, our transporter doubled in hp upto 160bhp. but on a saxo absolutly pointless, and the cost of tuning a TU engine is silly, what i would do is just drop a K-series lump in there not too difficult either.. then you have 160hp just like that for about £300 on the engine and about another £200-300 on mods to fit.

    what a retard

If you haven't drastically modded the engine/ fitted boost, don't bother.
