URGENT car wont start / vts 16v 1997

    was cleaning my car with power washer and now car wont start. the drivers side wheel arch cover is missing and wondering is there somthing there that would cause the car not to start. ie water getting into somwere plz help as im just ready to sell the vts. alllights on dashbord comming on but just clicking when turned over. even bumed it and started but when i took my foot of the accelerator it conks out. cheers

    Im unsure whats in that area but if I were you I would start it and sit for a while with it idling, even if you have to hold it there, if its something wet then it will dry out.

    Unless anyone has other thoughts about potential damage thru running a car with wet components?

    PS, i hope you meant "bumped it" and not "bumed it", if you bummed it then maybe thats why its upset!!!

    Another option is to leave it until morning and try it then. Just give everything a chance to dry up.
