2000 1.1 radiator fan wont turn off?

   Hi all
   
   first post. I ve just brought a year 2000 saxo forte 1.1 as a run about so i dnt run the mileage up on my skyline, and there is a problem with the fan switch. aparantly it wudnt come on at all and the head gasket went. now he has replaced the head gasket and got a new switch but now it wont turn off. its on from cold. any ideas what could be the case?

   yeah i thought that but no idea what they are supposed to be like. aparantly a garage did it. so would have assume its correct?!

   I thought you meant as in a manual switch thats been added on??

   I would check the wiring and make sure they didn't just make it permanent.
   And if you knew the shit that garages do and the short cuts they take on your pride and joy just to make time you would probably cry. I did. That's why i do it all myself

   yeah i realise that!! will take it to my uncle, hes a whiz with wires. i stick to pure tuning side
