swapping looms to single plug?

    Difference between mk1 and mk2 vts looms, sensors?? Ive got a 3plug vtr with 3plug vts engine but looking at getting the pred ecu but as only have the single plug atm looking at swapping loom to single plug to run with the ecu.

    How much of a hard job would it be and i know most sensors are the same but which ones are different?

    The sensors are all the same, its just every single plug is different. i did this and you have to swap all the sensors over unless you want to bodge it.

    Is it worth the hassle? As i cant find a 3 plug engine and ecu anywhere

    yeah i did it to one of mine, not really alot of hassle tbh 20mins to swap them over.

    Ye but it would be easier to fit mk1 sensors onto engine rather than cut all plugs off mk1 loom and fit mk2 plugs.
