Hub Nut - Reverse / Left hand thread?

    Im trying to get the rear hub nut un-done on my 1998 1.1 Saxo.

    Ive popped a wratchet in the process so im wondering if its got a reverse/lefthand thread.

    I could try it but i dont want to make the bastard any tighter.

    Drivers side btw so would be the right side for a reverse thread.

    Left hand thread mate get a breaker bar with a socket on it.

    Use a breaker bar and i assume you have un stakd it?

    Cheers for the replies. Ive got a bar that I just found one day that I always put over my wrench and it done a nice job of hub nuts and before, even got the crank pulley off my impreza with it a few weeks ago!

    Maybe i do need a breaker bar though.

    Good to know which way i need to turn it tho!!!

    Not sure what you mean by unstakd? Ive folded that locking tab back off the nut if thats what it is?

    Yerh that's it mate. Easy enough to undo them without knocking the folded tabs out anyway.
