    my saxo's temp gauge is just below the red does anyone no why that is there is plenty of coolant any help?

    either you need to bleed to the system, or your headgasket is gone. check oil cap see if it has a maynaise like substance on it, and same for coolant, or if white smoke coming out of exhuast. you'l know it gone then.
