Its hard to tell from that pic.

Mine has a slight flair to it for a clamp to join the decat and the rear pipe together.

Assume the vtr's are the same as the vts.
Ask for a pic or the seller if the end is flaired slightly or just straight cut, as you put. Look under you car and see where the cat joins the rear section of the exhaust at the join.

Depends on the manufacturer as to the fitment to the rear section. Ask the guy who's offering it to you to explain how he fitted it and if he's done anything to it

Ok guys, heres what he said:

Yes it came off mine! I did have to get one of those clamps that holds the pipe on, not sure if the clamps u have on now will do the trick, my cousins a mechanic he sorted it all for me .

    Then

It's stainless steel, i think it was only on the car about 3 months then my mot came round and i had to take it off, been in garage ever since i couldnt be arsed to put it back on again! Just need the exust clamps to fix it in place like whats holding ur cat on.

    Then

yeah mate that's how it came off! It's just the clamps and nuts n bolts that hold it on to the back box and manifold bit that you need

Sounds as if it is the same design as mine.
Just need a clamp that goes round the flange part of the decat and the rear exhaust section.

You probably already have a clamp if not then they are cheap enough to buy.
