  1. #1
I have fitted some wilwood powerlite calipers to my vtr but they are only working when very hot which makes me think that the pads that are fitted are for race use only i am wanting to know what make and spec pads people are using in there big brake kits as i dont really want to keep it as it is

    406 brembos... using standard pads.

The brakes are for show more than stopping power though

Do you know the wilwood part number for the pad? If its big enough you may be able to use an 1144 mintex compound even if for track.

The part number for the pads are 150-8813 which is the BP-10 compond what is meant to be used for street use but they just dont seem to want to bite.
    My vtr calipers worked better

1144's are the best bet for road use. they work from cold and can deal with light track work.
